Pest Control In Pelham
The Town of Pelham is home to more than 18,000 people across Fonthill, Fenwick, Ridgeville and North Pelham, home to the Short Hills, surrounded by farmland and wooded areas. The Welland River forms the town's southern boundary, and Twelve Mile Creek and Coyle Creek run through the area. It is a mix of established village streets, newer neighbourhoods and rural properties, and Ridge Pest Control serves all of it.
Common Pest Issues In Pelham
Wooded lots and creek valleys bring their own pests. Carpenter ants move into stumps, firewood and damp structural wood, spiders thrive on homes surrounded by trees, and wasps build in eaves, sheds and the ground through summer. Rural and edge of town properties see mice moving in from the fields every fall, often into garages and outbuildings first.
Blacklegged ticks have spread across the Niagara region, so properties near the Short Hills, wooded edges and tall grass are good candidates for a yard treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions
My home is surrounded by trees. What should I watch for?
Spiders and carpenter ants are the two big ones. An exterior spray treatment handles spider pressure on the house, and carpenter ant treatment targets nesting areas once we find where they are coming from.
Do you treat yards for ticks?
Yes. Our perimeter tick treatment targets the yard, perimeter and landscape zones where your family and pets spend time, especially along wooded edges and tall grass.
Do you cover Fonthill, Fenwick and Ridgeville?
Yes, along with North Pelham and nearby Welland, Thorold and Smithville.
