Pest Control In Smithville
Smithville is the main community and administrative centre of the Township of West Lincoln, about halfway between Hamilton and Pelham, and just a short drive up the escarpment from our base in Grimsby. The township is home to more than 15,000 residents across Smithville, Caistorville, St. Anns, Wellandport and about two dozen smaller communities, with agriculture at the heart of the area. Ridge Pest Control serves homes, farms and businesses throughout.
Common Pest Issues In Smithville
Farm country means mice, and every fall they move from the fields into houses, barns, garages and workshops. Wasps build nests in sheds, eaves and the ground through the summer, and carpenter ants find their way into older outbuildings and damp wood. Homes surrounded by open land and tree lines also see steady spider activity through the warm months.
Ticks are now found throughout Niagara, so tall grass and field edges around rural properties are worth treating where kids and pets spend time.
